This 1114-acre park is located right in Jersey City. Attractions such as the Liberty Science Center, the Liberation Monument, the Liberty Walkway and the Liberty Interpretive Center are all located within the park. Washington Rock State Park is located at the Green Brook Township, and is one of the oldest parks in the state. Named for a lookout used by General George Washington in the Revolutionary War, today this park is popular for its views and picnic spots.
The Liberty Landing Marina boasts 200 berths, a travel lift, holding tank pump and sailing school. Located in Liberty State Park, visitors can also avail themselves of nature trails, and interpretive center and the Liberty Science Center. Ferry service is offered from Liberty Landing to Ellis Island, the Statue of Liberty and Manhattan.
