With such a close proximity to New York City, just west of Manhattan across the Hudson River, Jersey City can be an ideal starting point for a vacation to the Big Apple. The Colgate Clock is a unique and large attraction, which faces the bay and the 2, 200-pound minute hand moves 23 inches every minute. Also, the Liberty Landing Marina offers over 200 berths, a travel lift and a sailing school. Visitors can also enjoy ferry rides from Liberty Landing to Ellis Island, the Statue of Liberty and Manhattan.
